Summary0000262: submit smart meter data to PVoutput around the clock
DescriptionWSL combines submitting smart meter data to PVoutput with the inverter data. This is done only while the inverter is up.
It results in PVoutoutput not displaying energy consumption (actyually anything at all) outside of production intervals.
Possibly this also results in incorrect net consumption (export-import) calculations in PVoutput.
Please allow WSL to upload and submit recorded data to PVoutput outside of production hours.
Steps To ReproduceConfigure a smart meter device in WSL, include submitting smart meter data to PVoutput in the settings of the inverter device. Run WSL around the clock. View (missing) system data in PVoutput.
Additional InformationTo me it seems this could either be done by continuing the submission of inverter data to PVoutput after the inverter has shut down for the night, or by seperating submission of the smatmeter data from the inverter data.
The latter probably requires making use of the delay parameter (d=1) to prevent PVoutput from seeing consumptium / import as negative production and therefore ignoring it.
That can be a problem since I understand that the delay parameter is only accepted for to PVoutput donators.

Please share a link to your PVo system and the date you are talking about.

Here is my system:

As far as I'm getting your question, all is available on this page.

Hi Marco,
Is your consumption data submitted by WSL?
My system is http://pvoutput.org/intraday.jsp?id=26668&sid=24385 [^]
If you look at yesterday's graph (or wait untill later tonight for today's) you'll see what I mean:
I started using WSL yesterday (before that I used Smart Meter Dashboard to monitor and submit smart meter data). There's still consumption data on the night before, (uploaded by Smart Meter Dashboard) but there have been no submissions between 21:35 (the time my inverter shut down) and 7:00 am this morning (the time the inverter started producing).

Yesterday I got a mail from WSL:
Your inverter Omnik 3K-TL is done for the day.

These are the figures of the day:

Energy: 2078.5 kWh
Max: 0 Watt (13:01)

--------------------------------
(The energy amount is wrong of course. This was caused by setting the initial yield. I corrected this by removing this and manually adding hstorical yields)
After that there were no more updates to PVoutput.

I did not recieve a mail like thas tonight (why not?), although my inverter has shut down by now.
Also, I still see consumption data being updated on PVoutput now.

So what could have happened here?

Of course i'm using WSL to submit my data to PVo and until now it works flawless.

Please give WSL and PVo some time to known each other.

By constantly changing parameters and data PVo loses track on the submitted (changed) data.
PVo works with cumulative data and by changing data in WSL or(!) PVo, its could happen that PVo stops logging because of negative figures etc.

Email:
Yesterday my inverter went down around 21:00-21:15 and i recieved the email 22:09

OK, I'm sorry for my impatience and presumptions and I want to thank you for your support!

I just recieved the mail:

Your inverter Omnik 3K-TL is done for the day.

These are the figures of the day:

Energy: 10 kWh
Max: 0 Watt (06:59)

-----------------------------------------
I'm a bit puzzled by "Max: 0 Watt" now....

Uploads to PVoutput are still OK also, so please consider my request as closed.

Thanks!

All uploads are working now, thanks.
However, I reported a couple of other problems. See there...
